I’m sure Paul Ryan and his comrades hope so

Yes, I'm sure they find it much easier being the token "opposition" minority party.

To do what they do? Yes

How does a arty which had a mandate in 2010 by winning frighteningly, historically, even talk about losing a few years later after the worst president anyone can imagine in their wild dreams runs the country into the ground, watching Europe succumb to a common enemy and after the Same party takes the senate as the voters practically bring pitchforks and torches to the voting center?

As the presidency is going to the same party?

Thee answer is obvious as it has always been. Whatever deal they have with their leaders, whoever they are, includes their not being the majority party. They do not want it and they’re not supposed to have it. Paul Ryan is in there to see to that. He is bad for this and he’ll be in there for a long time.
