Texas official suggests bombing Muslims with nuclear weapons By IND on August 18, 2015
Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller
Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller has posted a Facebook photo suggesting bombing of âthe Muslim worldâ with nuclear weapons.
The Facebook photo posted on Sunday night shows a mushroom cloud rising up through the air after the explosion of an atomic bomb with a text saying âJapan has been at peace with the US since August 9, 1945. Itâs time we made peace with the Muslim world.â
On August 6, 1945, the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and three days later another atomic bomb on Nagasaki during World War II, killing at least 129,000 civilians and prompting Japanâs unconditional surrender.
Millerâs Facebook photo was removed sometime on Monday morning but it has received more than 300 comments.
He is now under harsh criticism but has not apologized for posting the controversial photo. His office has not responded to requests for comment.
Sid Miller will not apologize for the social media post that calls for the atomic bombing of âthe Muslim world.â Todd Smith, the Republicanâs campaign spokesman, said that, âWeâre not going to apologize for the posts that show up on our Facebook page.â
Smith said about 18 people have access to the campaign account. âI donât know who did it, but Iâm not going to start a witch hunt to find out who did.â
Texas Democrats released a statement Monday afternoon condemning Millerâs post.
âIt is unacceptable for Republican Sid Miller to be promoting such disgusting rhetoric. Sadly, this kind of racist, xenophobic hate speech qualifies you for higher office with Republicansâ Tea Party fringe base,â said Manny Garcia, Texas Democratic Partyâs deputy executive director.
âWe hope Sid Miller shows some respect for Texans and the responsibility of holding state office and issues an apology,â he added.
In January, Miller said that he could not sleep at night for the fear of the United States becoming a âMuslim country.â
During the Texas Public Policy Foundation forum, he raised the issue, asking, âAre we doing enough?â
Hope he understands muslim countries like Pakistan have their own nukes and would use them, as well.
I voted for Miller.
I am good with his suggestion and post.
Nuke ‘em and make them get on their knees and never get back up.
Hope it’s not prophetic - let nukes out of the box again, in today’s world, and no telling where it will stop.
How about dropping a 100 daizycutter on Raqa? Same effect, no radiation.
That's what barrel bombs do and Assad has used those extensively. The Iraq govt is also using them against ISIS. They are easy to make and cheap.
Barrel bombs can also easily deliver chlorine or other chemical compounds, and Assad has used those also.
As for nukes, everyone automatically thinks strategic nuclear weapons, but tactical nukes are just as effective. There are nuclear artillery shells, bazookas, and even land mines. In the 50s they developed nuke rifle shells.
Nuclear bunker busters are also considered to be tactical weapons. Its not clear whether the US has any but Israel probably does have tactical nukes, including bunker busters. If you wanted to militarily take out Iran's nuclear program, nuke bunker busters would be helpful.
A couple of megatons on Mecca = Islam delenda est, accomplished.
One that would microwave 25 to 30 yards would be a great tool.
After the events in Paris on 11/13, I will be adding
this to my posts for the next week. I'm certain our
turn is coming again soon. We stand united against
Islamic extremists.
Some music for reflection if the mood strikes you.

An honorable mention also goes out to Lassana Bathily , a Muslim immigrant from Mali.
Mr. Bathily sheltered customers at the Jewish Deli and helped police by providing info
on the terrorists, and providing the location of survivors in the deli.
