It sure isn’t the same god.
The Koran is emphatic that Allah doesn’t “take unto himself a son” in several verses. And it also says that Jesus was not crucified, but that Allah “made it appear so” instead (which makes Allah a liar by way of illusion). Other verses mock the notion that Allah “is one of three” and call it blasphemy; the reference is quite blatant there.
I’m in total agreement. It was W who said that. It proves either W is lost or a fraud.
