Circus time again when all the non-funny clowns take to the streets. Like earlier, what's old is new again. SDS part deux.

Someone made a great post about not liking the 70’s the first time around and even less this time.

Anyone know what post that was. It was great.

I remember the 1960s.

This Li'l Abner episode ended with the university being sold to the Mob. In the next riot, the Hippie tooth met the enforcer's brass knuckles. Peace ensued on campus.

What did we expect? Come to find out, these criminals (Hello. It’s not ‘cute’ anymore) have been festering all these years in entities associated with government,, they finally DO take over the government & everybody yawns. Or at least doesn’t do anything about it.

So much for progress. And the rule of law. Some people try to overthrow the government, commit- at the very least, multiple attempts at murder, hide out for awhile & then, completely get away with it. And we wonder why our country is in a smoking ruin. smh

Brought to you by the next President of the United States, Hillary Diane Rodham, volunteer legal aide to the Black Panther Party in New Haven, 1969-70.

And like 1968, another Republican is going to be elected President.

On a smaller scale, sure.

But you don't have the kind of mass support now that you had for either movement back in the 1960s.

Key factor on campuses: no draft.

Also: no assumption of automatically increasing affluence.
