Paul Ryan: No Mass Deportations on My Watch

House Speaker Paul Ryan says not to expect any Donald Trump-style mass deportations under his watch.

In a "60 Minutes" profile that aired Sunday, Ryan told interviewer Scott Pelley he doesn't advocate the GOP presidential front-runner's plan to deport every illegal immigrant.

"I can't imagine how it could happen," Ryan said.

Ryan, who at 45 is the youngest House speaker since the 1860s, said he doesn't see the job as a long-term proposition.

"I was just planning on serving out my tenure as Ways and Means chair, and then going finding out something else to do with my life," he said. "I really don't know how long this is going to last. This wasn't something I was planning on doing in the first place." In fact, Ryan had to have his arm twisted to take the job. He has three children between the ages of 10 and 13 and said he didn't want to spend weekends away from them and attending fundraisers all over the country. His wife, Janna, agreed.

"I have to admit it was pitiful that he had to be forced to take the job because nobody else would step up and run. Very pathetic and now we are stuck with a guy who doesn’t care if he does well or not. Wow.'

Ryan wanted the job. He just wanted it on his terms.

He wanted it very much because he wants to push his amnesty agenda through.

Tried to tell folks but they JUST DIDN'T GET IT! Mr. Jefferson wrote that rule in the House allowing a member to call for the ouster of the Speaker TO PREVENT THE SPEAKER FROM BECOMING A DICTATOR. Why did Ryan DEMAND exemption from that rule?? photo RYAN copy TEXTjpg_zpsq3gsn4d1.jpg

Its time for some pretty strong medicine in this country and voting Republican isn’t the answer unless its Ted Cruz for President or even Trump with great reluctance.....the nine Republican congressman who voted against Ryan deserve our full support next year.

If Cruz picks some fake or phony with a cave in record I may back away from voting for him as well and I will with Trump, too.

The GOPe is in panic mode. Their one candidate - Yeb! Bush has proved to be a non-contender, so they can't muster the same type of showing they have put us through with Dole, McCain and Romney.

I think this next election will be different. The most important reason is we that are on to them. We know their tactic which is the reason why the strongest non-GOPe candidates are floating to the top.

Every day I am feeling much more confidant that we are gonna be able to say - We Got This.

Just a hunch but it is looking our way.

Every person he wants to deport will have to go to court to determine if the person is illegal.

There are probably a few hundred thousand ignored and unenforced deportations orders in existence now. And 40% of illegal aliens are visa overstays and those should require little or nothing in the way of hearings since they are clearly in violation of the terms of their visas.

The first phrase that comes to mind, being a Christian woman, I can’t say them. But I can say this. The same place in dantes inferno. This prick with the Clintons. For eternity

Trump will IMMEDIATELY EXPLAIN TO RYAN that enforcing the law is the job of the EXECUTIVE BRANCH and only the EXECUTIVE BRANCH.

If Ryan doesn’t like the law, he’s more than welcome to try to change it...although he might find some pushback.

I have to admit it was pitiful that he had to be forced to take the job because nobody else would step up and run.

That isn't what happened. There was to be an election for speaker. There were conservatives running. When the GOPe realized that their guy McCarthy was not going to win, Boehner cancelled the election. Boener had no reason to cancel the election just because one guy drops out. Two guys were still candidates.

I’m a bit optimistic about the Presidency, but the Senate and House seats are all about RINO’s with few exceptions.

My Republican Senator, Pat Toomey, caved twice on the Second Amendment even talking up his Bloomberg backed gun control amendment after the Charleston church massacre earlier this year.

NO VOTES FOR RINO’S FOR CONGRESS AT ALL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THEY WILL ONLY UNDERMINE A PRESIDENT CRUZ OR A PRESIDENT TRUMP.

"I was just planning on serving out my tenure as Ways and Means chair, and then going finding out something else to do with my life," he said. "I really don't know how long this is going to last."

If you don't start acting like a conservative, Ryan, I'd guess until the next motion to vacate the chair is filed.

Well Paulie you are not going to be able to stop Trump any better than you are stopping Ofail. You are a spineless little quisling just like the rest of the GOP leadership. If you think dealing Ofail is tough get ready for the house of pain. Fool.

Paul Ryan: No Mass Deportations on My Watch

Hopefully, Mr. Ryan, your watch will expire the same time Obama leaves office and a President-Elect Trump insist that a new Speaker be elected that will work with him and the American People on immigration and not block immigration law enforcement measures like Ryan surely will do if he is allowed another term as Speaker.

<”I can’t imagine how it could happen,” Ryan said.>

Can he imagine stiff employer sanctions and unemployed illegals self-deporting? I can.

Where does the Republican Party find all these arrogant nitwit “leaders”?

I don’t know how to deport all these illegals...but we sure shouldn’t be giving them any benefits and SS and any preferences and absolutely no drivers licenses....
