Is 20 bombs alot? No. In context, the United States and coalition forces have flown thousands of sorties all over the Middle East for well over a decade. As you are aware, the Russians have also started an unrelenting air campaign yet here we are, with ISIS still causing chaos while still on the march.

I'd guess they are using specific targeting vs. going for the carpet effect - that comes after another attack......
