"It's about the systematic oppression that students are facing here."

Did you ever notice they cannot provide reasonable examples of "systematic oppression"?

Apparently, one, large, desegregated student union building is "systematic oppression", where discrete white, black, Latino, and Asian student union buildings would not be.

Apparently, the university's leadership, such as the Board of Trustees, the President of the university, and the faculty making decisions, is "systematic oppression". Mob rule by the students is not.

Sunshine, you are student in an American Liberal Arts College, you have no clue what real oppression is.

This college says typical attendance costs over 66,000 dineros per year, and that’s without the obligatory student lambroghinni . Any kid who can afford ( or is having his way paid for him or her) over a quarter million bucks just for a college “efucation” is hardly a candidate for “systemic oppression”. Great big giant BS meter goes here :

These resignations do not help, they only encourage more bullying.

But members of several campus advocacy groups said the photo is just one in a long list of issues at the college.

I have yet to hear one single "issue" that actually exists at any of these places. Some kid dressing as Justin Bieber for Halloween doesn't count in my book as some sort of "act of systemic oppression".

These morons are reading from some script they've been handed by one of Obama's OFA groups, and they don't realize how silly they sound.

One of the students in the photo who was dressed as Justin Bieber resigned as junior class president.

I didn't know Justin Bieber was a race. You live and learn.

Assimilation is a pipe dream; if it can’t happen here with fifty years of freebies and preferential treatment, it can’t happen anywhere. Some segments of our population are simply never going to catch up.

“...freebies and preferential treatment...”

THAT is WHY they aren't assimilating. I was just talking with my kids about that. Back in the day the black families stayed together, strong family values, church-going, etc. When the “Great Society” took hold the statistics started going south, and just get worse every year. (Something like 70% with no dad). If someone is willing to reward poor behavior like getting freebies if you have another child and don't have a husband, that behavior will continue.

It is really sad to see what the democrats have done.

I agree; a black sharecropper in the South in 1920 was more assimilated/American than these rejects...

No one would pay that much to be somewhere they were so mistreated.
Like the stats that one in five college women are raped, you know it isn’t true because no one in their right mind would PAY for the privilege to attend a place so bad.

Good grief. If this keeps up, Mexican restaurants will be closed down. Will Chinese restaurants be next?
