The G.O.P. at an Immigration Crossroads
The New York Times ^ | November 13, 2015 | David Brooks

Posted on 11/13/2015 12:00:37 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

It’s no exaggeration to say that the next six months will determine the viability of the Republican Party. The demographics of this country are changing. This will be the last presidential election cycle in which the G.O.P., in its current form, has even a shot at winning the White House. And so the large question Republicans must ask themselves is: Are we as a party willing to champion the new America that is inexorably rising around us, or are we the receding roar of an old America that is never coming back?

Within that large question the G.O.P. will have to face several other questions.

The first is: How is 21st-century America going to view outsiders? For Republicans in the Donald Trump camp, the metaphor is very clear: A wall. Outsiders are a threat and a wall will keep them out...

If most of the unemployed White people vote Republican, Hillary will be swept out the door like the garbage she is. There are MANY more Whites than minorities and they are being abused by the government in countless ways, while being expected to pay their abusers! If Whites are angry enough to get even in Nov. ‘16, the Democrat Party is the one that will be mortally wounded.

As if the New York Times has intention of helping the Republicans. This article is garbage.

A wishful diatribe by a New York Times staff writer. There are many approaches to victory; but only one approach to honor & the integrity of an American heritage.

Mr. Brooks transposes the Demographic changes over the assumption of a continuation of a two party system. That, in itself, is extremely unlikely. Many of those diverse players have clearly conflicting interests. Does Brooks just assume that they will continue to unite in hatred of the America that Conservative Republicans adhere to?

Surrendering the values of the Founding Fathers is neither in our interest nor in any sense an honorable course.

Conservatives are still able to put the cult of Diversity In Context.

One of the reasons I'm not a registered Rep. is because people like Brooks are Reps.

This whole demographics argument is based on the idea that the Hispanics are going to let the dhimmis do to them the same thing they did to the blacks.

Maybe, maybe not. Were I Hispanic I'd look at the state of Black America and "No thanks".

Further, all these folks that pretend to know what the future holds, well, they don't.

Brooks spreading the same manure that cost the GOP the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections by large margins. He thinks the party can be saved by the tactics that have weakened it greatly since W’s two stupid amnesty pushes in 2006 and 2007. The Dims have been importing their new voters in large numbers since the Slick Willie years and stupid Republicans keep helping them to import more.

The GOP is at a crossroads. Their voters want to keep the rule of law and their country.

The GOP elites are owned by The Cheap Labor Express and must deliver the amnesty candidate they have been paid for.

If they are successful in preventing us from electing a President who will enforce the laws and stop the illegal alien inundation, then the GOP should die.

No one should vote for another amnesty candidate.

We have options:

1. buying strike (keep your job, though)
no new houses or cars, expensive wines, highly-taxed hotel rooms, etc.
2. emigration to a country that has US like tax rates
but provides better benefits to the middle class
(older folks: Poland and Hungary have Social Security reciprocity)

Another possibility is replacing the welfare state with in-family distribution of your federal tax money. Basically your relatives on the dole would get a better deal by voting for the Republican in-family plan.

There hasn’t been a Republican mayor of Chicago since 1931.

Legals hate illegals.

NYT omits that from their “analysis”.

Why would they do that?

Tis a shame David Brooks is not as sharp as the crease that appeared in o-puppet’s trousers. This individual doesn’t get it now, will never get it in the future. Please, history is boring and often tends to repeat itself.
