Simmons is the brain behind KISS, not the front man.
Didn’t see SHJs John Stewart, Larry David nor Jerry Sienfeld listed.
Props given where props are due - Well Done!
God Bless Them!
Surprised to see Banderas there. Good on him; he played a muzzie in the 13th Warrior.
ping!
Great gesture but now most of these morons will vote for and donate money to Democrats.
And Haim Saban is an Obamaholic.
AWESOME!
They were all Obama voters except for Simmons, I believe.
If youâd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

You're right - stopped clock and all... still, nice to see Hollywood do something right for once.
So heartening to see this array of stars come out for Israel and its IDF. I hope that very few are Obama voters. Great to see Mark Walberg showing which side he is on. Just by the movies he makes you know he is quite patriotic as far as Hollywood types go.
I just got the first and second seasons of Ray Donovan so I will appreciate Liev Schrieber even more when I watch it.
I remember that era very well. Such excitement! U.S. Jews, among them corporate and business executives, athletes, NYC professionals and celebrities, Hollywood big shots and stars plus other influential notables along with everyday Jewish folks rallied around the fledgling country and donated mightily with money and talent for several years.
The great enthusiasm reminded me of the U.S. War Bond rallies of the WW2 early forties, all the big benefit parties, fund-raisers....I even remember those commercial ad clips selling bonds shown between double-feature films at my local Bijou every day and night.
Today, I'm afraid, too many of the Jewish population have forgotten their heritage due to so many millions of them becoming Democrat-Party-ized from the FDR New Deal to the present Obama Raw Deal. Some Jewish folks today ignore or even disavow the doughty, beleaguered little Middle East nation whose population is of their blood and tradition.
So I give "hurrahs" to those who attended the Hollywood event to raise millions for the Israel Defense Fund...even if some did it for the publicity or even from some latent feelings of guilt. The $31M is going for one of the best causes on the face of this earth.....and it was money in the bank!
Good going, Gene Simmons...I could KISS you and your buddies who rallied 'round the Israeli flag for this gala evening of love, loyalty and faith!
