This is the impression I got watching Carter being sworn into office, his face serious and calm, while three feet away, the Vice President, Old Joe, was running his hands over Ashton’s wife, softly kissing the nape of her neck. Stephanie Carter, Ashton’s wife, just kept a frozen, vacant stare throughout the entire creepy and inappropriate ordeal.
Not exactly vacant, her expression said "I want to kick this guy in the b***s, but that would cause more trouble than it's worth".
Yeah, I don’t get that.
