The Pentagon's plan outlining the long-stalled effort to close the Guantanamo Bay detention center, expected in the coming week, includes details suggesting that the Centennial Correctional Facility in Colorado is one suitable site to send detainees whom officials believe should never be released, administration officials said.

Then comes formally handing over Guantanamo to Cuba.
I believe it was the House that just passed a bill denying entry to the U. S. of Guantanamo detainees.
It also forbid the closing of the base I believe. Someone correct me if I missed on that one.
And guess who will move in to Gitmo.... The Russians!!!
I thought Congress just passed something to prevent this.

The minute they show up in Colorado they will get lawyers who will sue that they were denied due process in a court of law. The judge will agree, and will let them go in Colorado.
When they hit US soil, they recieve constitutional rights.

Between Florence and Cañon City, we have about 14 prisons, with a good percentage of people working corrections in one way or another. We’re all pretty well armed and aware of what we have here. If they actually got out, this is the LAST place they want to start crap in.
I believe Obama will give Guantanamo back to Cuba at the end of his term
