In this brief video Ted Cruz rips the cover off Democrat Harry Reid's Anti-American complaint that we shouldn't jail illegal alien murderers, rapists and kidnappers because it would cost too much and be insulting to immigrants.

Rather than deportation or everify, this is what Cruz should emphasize in his immigration plan because this will get votes.
No Welfare to immigrants. Cruz should emphasize in his immigration plan that no immigrant, legal, illegal or naturalized citizen should get welfare. This should be the big distinction between Rs and Ds. Equal Protection of the 14th only applies to citizens. That is why the 14th so self-consciously and explicitly defines what a citizen is.
And all legal immigrants, including Naturalized citizens historically sign a contract that they will not be “indigent”..will not go on welfare. That should be tightened and enforced.
Currently Muslim “refugees” are the immigrants motivated by welfare.
Next item: Cruz should emphasize that every immigrant should explicitly agree to support the Constitution. They should explicitly agree to the 1st Amendment. Explicitly agree that non-Muslims can witness to them. That their family member can convert to a different religion, or no religion. etc.

Rather than jail them which will cost money, and rather than deport them which is useless as they will just walk back across tomorrow, can we not declare a blanket refugee status to all mexicans and then ship them all to Germany?
harry should be jailed for believing this.
