The artificial delays caused by prison rights attorneys was always meant to be the basis of the movement to abolish the death penalty. They create the delays, then claim that the delays are cruel and unusual and ineffective.
Which is patently false. The delays are not unusual at all. In fact, they are the rule rather than the exception. And if they are cruel then it makes sense to put the prisoner out of his misery.
