Does Sen. Cruz support deporting illegals, as Trump does? If not, blah, blah, blah.

I'm looking in Trump written plan to see where he says that he will deport everybody.

There's just one mention of deportation and it's for the convicted criminals.

Obviously, he does. (support deporting illegals)

It’s just a matter of strategy. If the borders are porous it will be easy in, easy out.

It’s easy to just say deport them all and we all cheer but Cruz has a plan.

Re: “Does Sen. Cruz support deporting illegals, as Trump does?”

One year ago - No! - Cruz did not support deporting illegals.

In 2014, the editorial board of the Union Leader newspaper in New Hampshire asked Cruz that specific question.

Cruz responded that he would not deport any illegal immigrants who had obeyed all other USA laws.

Sorry - I do not believe Cruz's sudden “Road To The White House” conversion on H-1B visas.

I only trust three Republicans on immigration policy - Jeff Sessions, Rep. Steve King (Iowa), and the new Congressman who beat Eric Cantor in 2014 (can't recall his name).

I also trust Tom Tancredo from Colorado, but he recently quit the Republican Party because of its insane immigration policies.

Does Sen. Cruz support deporting illegals, as Trump does? If not, blah, blah, blah. And, previously, Cruz has spoken of "removing the magnets" -- i.e., jobs and benefits -- as a necessary part of job one: securing the border.

I'd say self-deportation is going to be strongly encouraged -- followed by whatever is necessary.
