Norway to Afghan migrants from Russia: You may get sent back to Kabul

The Norwegian government has sent a stern warning to Afghan asylum seekers coming across the border from Russia: You could get a one-way ticket to Kabul.

Hundreds of migrants have been crossing into Norway from Russia each week via the frontier above the Arctic Circle -- but last week marked a turning point, with more Afghans than Syrians seeking asylum for the first time, Norway's Directorate of Immigration said.

The government's strong message is directed at those Afghans who have legal papers to stay in Russia -- and the threat to send them straight back to their homeland is meant as a deterrent to other Afghans with the same idea.

"It is important that the Norwegian authorities are sending a clear signal to people who do not need protection or already are legally residing in Russia," Anders Anundsen, minister of Justice and Public Security said in statement on the government's website.

And Russia hasn’t explained how they allowed these people to cross their borders twice?

Not that I dont expect them to.

Why "may?"

Were I in charge, all refugees to have entered my country illegally, or showing spite and malice toward the system and people who welcomed them, would be given a "one-way" ticket back to wherever they came from (origination point, not Russia, in this case). This would include several tins of Surstromming to make the trip. A sturdy canoe, a tennis racket for a paddle, and a drop 100 miles from shore, obviously to help them get underway on their journey home, would serve to complete my benevolence.

“The government’s strong message is directed at those Afghans **who have legal papers to stay in Russia**”

What if they throw their papers away? Didn’t think about that, did you Anders? Damn! Outwitted again!

For you youngsters, during the Cold War the communists despised the West while their citizens loved blue jeans, fast food and rock & roll.
Today, the Islamacists express their contempt for our decadence while muslims themselves are beating down our doors to try and get to the West.

Islam is toast, they just don’t know it yet .
