It really is insane logic.

“...but when you’re a city employee, and those thoughts, beliefs and opinions are different from the city’s, you have to check them at the door...”.

What are “City’s beliefs”? oh, he means HIS beliefs. So if the “City’s beliefs” were Christian it’d be OK to fire somebody for being gay right?

The Constitution is SPECIFICALLY applicable to government at all levels. The city is not a private club. What part of the 1st Amendment does this guy not understand? Nothing was done during work hours. These people don’t even realize they’re the opposite of “welcoming” - they’re exercising tyranny.

Unreal.

When liberals are in charge, wandering off the liberal plantation by even one inch is not allowed, just like in all totalitarian regimes.
