Think of it as the equivalent of a CEO or president at a company with 1125 employees, 7 battalions (departments) with 34 stations (divisions) under said battalions. I’ve seen CEO’s that make more and do less. Yes, it is a lot of public money, but I think it is probably earned in this instance.
