Debate Audience Sours on John Kasich, Boos Him During Bailout Discussion
Breitbart ^ | Charlie Spiering

Ohio Governor John Kasich fought for more time during the Fox Business debate this evening, but as he grew increasingly agitated over what he saw as a lack of experience on key issues, the audience got tired of his preaching.

At one point, they booed the governor when he was defending the notion of bailing out banks in order to keep them from failing.

snip

He appeared willing to interrupt any of the non-establishment candidates to remind them about what he saw as the “realities” of serving as an executive, and he frequently charged over the moderators, ignoring the bell signaling the end of his time.

Perhaps John Kasich harmed himself even more than Jeb has already put himself in the tall weeds.

Watch the next polls. Kasich shall have almost gone the way of Jim Gilmore.

If someone had slapped Kasich last night, they’d have gotten an immediate 10 point bump in the polls. 15 points if it was a really hard slap.

They really do not hide it.

They had Christie on there for a long time this morning.

Didn't watch the debate last night, but did watch the debate thread on FreeRepublic.

Based on the thread, Kasich stood out as the most unpopular, rude individual of all the candidates. Next was Bush, Rubio and Paul. Can't say I disagree with the assessment, of what I read, on the thread. Personally, I think Yebbie, Kasich and Paul should fold their tents and head home.

LET THE DAM BANKS FAIL!!!!!

THATS WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN WHEN THEY SCREW UP

The *ONLY* caveat to that is that most of these failures were BECAUSE the government forced them to make bad loans - and are now name-calling the banks ‘predatory lenders’

If the government tells you that you MUST loan to people who cannot afford it or they will sue you, but if you do make the loans they will gurantee them, then you really have no choice - though this does not make you ‘predatory’.

This is whay EVERY G*DD*M ONE OF THEM Should be replaced this year in the primaries

Ted Cruz was right when he said something to the effect that ‘you can’t privatize the gains and socialize the losses’.

if he wont respect our rules here, in this format, what makes us think he will respect us in office?

somebody tell this chump to bail out of the race now, before Trump and Cruz embarrass him in the bigger race

Kasich was only ever in as an erzats Jeb. Now that the GOPe have plighted their troth with Marco “8-ball” Rubio, Kasich is irrelevant. He’s parlayed being present in Congress during the Gingrich Speakership as far as it can possibly take him.

It is now common knowledge that letting the banks fail a decade ago would have allowed the financial reset that we need to happen.

Instead, the inevitable has been put off, guaranteeing the impending financial calamity will be several magnitudes worse.

Kasich has to know this. If he doesn’t then he’s an ill-informed fool.

I missed that - what an awesome quote.

I love Ted Cruz- but I think the best ticket this year is Trump/Cruz

Trump will bring them out in droves, especially the Reagan democrats AND I even hear African Americans talking about how they like Trump. (and do not like HilLIARy)

Trump would also have major coat-tails in state and local election results.

HilLIARy would much rather run against Cruz - it would be 50-50 chance. Trump would trounce her 70-30 and we should happily take advantage of that as long as it brings Cruz into office with him. I think Trump likes him and would take his advice- he IS very smart after all (both of them are)

The guy is a lefty.

No doubt. At the first debate, I wondered why the Republicans were allowing a Democrat on stage with them.

I believe that is what Senator Cruz said, let them fail. None of them were too big to fail.

I didn't bother with the debates. However, on my morning commute, the radio was spinning Jeb as the big winner.

I listened to his quotes....something about "The American People WANT illegal immigration", or somesuch. Sez me, that guy is utterly out of touch with his Republican base.

I don't understand why Republicans pander to dems. Democrats will never, ever vote for them because of it. Makes no sense.

Privatize the gains and socialize the losses, right John?

The moderators need to kill the microphone of anyone not playing by the rules. A debate should not be Survival of the Rudest.

One suggestion: Use a device akin to a chess timer. Each candidate starts out with the same amount of time, and, as they are speaking, their timer counts down. This occurs whether they are answering a direct question from a moderator, or when they are commenting on someone else’s answer. When your time reaches zero, a buzzer goes off and so does your microphone.
