BUT, contrary to the article's conclusion that the Cruz blackout is not "ideological"; it most certainly is-- and the evidence is right there in the article's charts. The networks are freezing out the real threat to the Establishment.
I like Trump, but if he wins, the Establishment can negotiate with Trump. With Cruz, there's no negotiation.
It’s good to see Cruz pulling away from children’s table set.
And you’re right, he may peak at the best time.
I posted here 6 months ago that the MSM would try hard to freeze Cruz out. After that FOX debate, the only name not discussed at the wrap up was Cruz.
I agree somewhat .. but my contention is that if Trump does win the nomination, it will be imperative that Cruz run with Trump. Why; because they are the “dynamic duo”.
Trump is the PUSH MAN (out front), and Cruz is the writer of the legislation that will stand up against any Supreme Court challenge.
Perfect!
Good article by the mainstream media (for once). I wonder how badly the WaPo is at covering Cruz in terms of print space.
This article though doesn’t cover the amount of bias in coverage. Carson has been treated horribly as most people know by now. And Cruz had a big hit piece by the NYT recently, which Rush debunked today.
Anyway, go Cruz!
Good point. Cruz does not want to surge to rapidly, because then his poll numbers will be harder to maintain, and then if they fall even a bit, stories will come about him peaking and so on. This has happened somewhat to Trump recently.
Cruz surging in January right before the Feb 1 Iowa caucus sounds great to me!
I have hit FOX very hard on this issue of not mentioning the name of Ted Cruz .. even when he moved into 3rd place. And, now again, FOX is showing Rubio ahead of Cruz .. and I’m just not buying it.
FOX is playing a very, very dangerous game. If they aren’t careful, they will come off in the same category with POLITICO .. in the toilet on credibility.
Contrast with dozens of FReepers whining that Cruz wasn’t doing enough...was not polling high enough, had no chance. They’re still here and clinging to those ideas.
