At seminar this past weekend in Manhattan, proudly proclaimed my Conservative views, and found more than a few servicemen in the group.
a veteran of Iraq.
A radar guy on a guided missile Cruiser. He told me not to worry, the US navy is FAR FAR FAR superior to anyone out there :)
a marine veteran of Iraq. I told him saying thank you for service was like saying thanks for going instead of me and what would he rather hear?
he said “Give money and time to the wounded is what i love to hear”
he was only 30 but his eyes looked so much older :(
