If not, then the evil that allowed him to rise would have remained and festered and become who knows what monster.
It is easy to say you would just kill the leader and somehow imply that antisemitism would have then not existed. But it would have. Better to say you would go back in time and fight the evil sooner. Stop it. Change his childhood. Change the minds of those who supported him. etc.
