It’s not a big deal, it’s really not. I was just struck by what I’d heard, that’s all.

Its probably true. Doesn’t mean much. They go around and ask scores of prominent people - maybe 100’s of people - in the early stages of the VP vetting process.

LOL, I just finished reading a very long New Yorker article from 2008 on Roger Stone. A movie of his life would be a best seller if that article is half true.

He wrote a book recently on Bill and Hillary and will have a book out on the Bush family the first of the year.

He is quite a character but I think he knows what he is talking about and has been in the inner circle long enough to have the dirt.

I’m reading the one about the Clinton’s now. It is everything bad I remember reading about the Clinton crimes but much more. Very interesting.

I’ll check at the library for it. I have no doubt he’s got the dirt on everybody.

Trump says Bush 41 adviser approached him about becoming VP

Good grief!
I hope he can prove that!

If Trump is not a Chess Master, his goose is cooked!

It was confirmed by Jon Meacham (Bush 41) that Atwater did approach Trump about VP to see if he was interested

Congress won’t be that hostile to Cruz if it remains Republican. It would be really, really tough for the RINOs to stand against him once he’s president and they can’t use their excuse that Obama would veto anything they passed. They would be totally exposed as RINOs and with Cruz in the main seat, he would have more influence to back opposing candidates in primaries and primary them out.

Plus, like I said, Cruz will find justices just as conservative as himself and get the same effect as having him on the court. There’s no guarantee that any other Republican president would ever appoint Cruz to the SC. It should be a real warning sign to reflect that we have no idea who Trump or Carson would appoint to the courts because both their knowledge of the conservative movement and of the complexity of managing a government function like court appointments are untested and in doubt. We don’t know if they care about making good court appointments as much as a movement conservative or if understand how to do it. We don’t need someone as president who’s just going to appoint someone they “like” or who “seems” conservative. Even Reagan and the Bushes made huge blunders with their court appointments. It is one of the single toughest things to do right and and a huge reason you need someone who truly UNDERSTANDS and VALUES all conservative principles and how to recognize them in other people to their core.

Is this Ben Carson, Bush or Clinton up to their dirty tricks?

I personally don’t trust anyone of the candidates except Trump so I don’t believe the news anymore...or the polls...unless I hear it from Trump’s mouth, it’s garbage...

Everyone has been trying to find some kind of dirt on Trump since he announced...so this is their way of doing a ‘Carson’ on Trump? Gotta try harder than that boys!!!

GO TRUMP GO!!!
