Trump says he wants them to come here legally. Personally I think the nation needs to greatly reduce immigration so recent immigrate can be assimilated. But there is a big difference between repatriating illegals and then allow some to legally immigrate here then allowing them to stay and then giving them legal status.

I believe that is the general sentiment across the entire country, but for those who see more as a way to profit or power.

But there is a big difference between repatriating illegals and then allow some to legally immigrate here then allowing them to stay and then giving them legal status.

Who said anything about "repatriating" them? Not Trump. He just talks about getting them "out." Out where? Processing centers just over the border? That was the Kay Bailey Hutchison RINO-Crat plan back in 2007, rejected back then as a closet amnesty.

Remember: What Trump says is designed to play to your fantasies. He even says so:
