Our son was declared “cancer free” for almost 6 months then they found another instance on his adrenal gland and around a kidney. Another round of chemo is underway and we will know the effects around Christmas. Because of the increases in his costs, we may need to give more financial assistance (he’s my wife’s son from another marriage and I consider him my son). Fortunately we are retired and planned well enough that we can foot some more expenses so i told my wife to follow her heart and ignore her brain as he is her only child (even though he’s 48) and I don’t want her or I to have any regrets when his time comes.
I had colon cancer that had gone through the intestinal wall and was causing leakage. Had to have 2 ft of my colon cut out and wear a wound vac system. My wife was upset as I said No chemo or radiation. If I die I die....
Having died back in 1988 from meningitis, experienced Heaven and was forced to return here, I welcome going back to Heaven. Dying isn’t all that bad. Not even the pain leading up to it is bad as you just step out of the body and you feel no pain.
So, if I die today, that’s ok. If I don’t darn, maybe better luck tomorrow! In the interim, I try not to take life so serious as I will never make it out alive!!! Funny thing, you really do make it out alive!!!
Your Family is in my prayers.
