It's not about Carson being a good man. That is not in dispute regardless of whether the West Point stuff pans out of not. It's about whether Carson is fit and/or qualified to be president. Just about as importantly, it's about whether Carson can beat the Democrat next November. Because if not, this is all for nothing.

Trump and Cruz are the only two men I feel comfortable with at this point. Either one is fine with me. Though I think Trump would have a better chance of victory in the general.

Yup, Trump can win. I think though he should not say much about Carson...he's self-destructing or at least the media is destroying him. Trump has already had his exam and came out smelling like Roses. They aren't going to find any dirt on Cruz but they will paint him as being right of Hitler.

I agree with you about Trump and Cruz. I trust both of them and the more I know and hear, the more I don’t really trust anyone else.

I don’t know that much about Ben Carson and neither did anyone else until recently. I’m not ready to call him names but the thought of him being president makes me very uneasy.

And so, who’s left? The only other candidate up in the polls is Marco Rubio. I would be more comfortable with him than with Carson but his immigration ideas are a killer.

So ... it’s kind of weird about learning a little bit eliminates some candidates.

I really, really like Cruz but if I thought Donald had a better chance of winning, I would go there in a second.
