Ben Carson Friday told CNN that its story questioning his accounts of violence as a youth as "a bunch of lies" and a "pathetic" attempt to distract him and the public from the real issues that are important.

He also complained that he is being vetted in a way that President Barack Obama and presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton are not.
"What you all did with President Obama doesn't even come close to what you guys are trying to do in my case," he told her. "You're going to keep going back, trying to find, he said this 12 years ago. It is just garbage. We have too many things that are important to deal with."
And as for Clinton: "Do you ask her the questions about veracity of what she's done? I want you to go back and ask her some real questions about what happened at Benghazi. I want you to ask her, did her philosophy include not knowing anything about what was going on in all the foreign territories over which she was responsible?"

If he can’t handle the ubiquitous lying media representatives, perhaps he’s not suited to public life.

That’s a good point but even more reason to vet our candidate. If Ben can’t take the heat he needs to reconsider running.
He called CNN out on their ridicules reporting. How is that not "handling" them?
"Can't handle it?" He called them out on their lies. How is that "not handling it?" Trump has been on the attack against the media for months.
Methinks Ben learned a bit from Ted Cruz at the last debate.

Trump proved that “push-back” against lying “journalists” is NOT something to be ashamed by.
I wonder what would happen if every GOP candidate, especially when questioned on LIVE TV, would say,
“You know, Harry Reid’s imaginary friend told ME that Hillary got more than five million dollars from selling State Department Approvals for deals that helped Russia and China at America’s expense. THAT’s what REAL Americans want to know about. So, why don’t you?”
Carson doesn't have that power, they're going to chew him up, and then turn to Cruz.
I think in their hearts they still think Trump will somehow implode.
The GOPe, media, talking heads and RINOs are all in on this..and have been since day one....
Carson wasn't a Republican until 2014 and he didn't change because of anything to do with Hillary except run on the republican ticket to knock Trump/Cruz out to get her into the Oval Office...
After the last debate, you seen Trump/Cruz pull back the curtain and show how dirty and corrupt Pubus is, and he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar....now he doesn't know what to do...so up goes Carson in the polls, which by the way, are fake...they are trying to again shovel Hillary down your throats for President...but Trump/Cruz are having none of that...
They worked it so that each of the other candidates ran up against Trump to knock him out, and it didn't work...so here's Carson...well he's going the same way....
The only one that can beat Hillary is Trump...and the only way this country can get it together is a Trump/Cruz ticket and I'm sure when Carson has had enough battering, they will try to break up the Trump/Cruz duo, but it won't work...
This whining that Carson is doing now, its show time stuff, its all planned out...but what they didn't expect was the support bases of Trump and Cruz to figure this out...and now their jobs are on the line, their money and power have gone and Hillary isn't getting into the Oval Office...
I am a Trump supporter, but Ben is on fire in this exchange.

Carson is absolutely right about this. Wrong for the Presidency, but right about this.
Exactly. He’s right that Obama was in no way vetted the way Republicans are. That being said, it doesn’t mean that Repubs shouldn’t be vetted. It means that Democrats should be.
CNN seeks to create a narrative... (aka: lies). IMHO the good doctor has dealt with them quite well. When is calling a liar a liar and lies lies showing “he can’t handle the ubiquitous lying media representatives”?
Dr.Ben’s off the liberal “plantation” and “script” his white liberal Democrat “owners” demand of their black folk... thus he must whupped to know his “place”! (like Kunta Kinte). All know Hillary brazenly lied as to the video causing the attack in Benghazi (move along, nothing here, CNN could care less). Every time Truth clashes with (misnamed)”progressive” narrative, tis Truth that must yield. When minorities violate their liberal “owners” script... it strikes near the same terror as did Nate Turner in 1831... with a similar reaction by their “masters”. God bless Dr. Ben!
He’s right and all Republicans should reject this kind of inquiry and turn it back on the media. Thank God for Trump, Carson, and Cruz who won’t just take the double standards but challenge them. Obama “the genius” has never released his academic transcripts and not one person has stepped forward that attended any of his classes when supposedly he was teaching. There are all kinds of holes in his life story but the media just accepted it for obvious reasons as for Clinton she has more skeletons in her closet and controversy to keep news cycles going forever.
I’m not a Carson guy, but IMO he handled it well. Camerota was cross-examining him in a way that Barry never was treated, and he pushed back. I don’t think that he lost his cool.
