Testifying before a House Oversight subcommittee on Tuesday, Peter Neffenger, the new head of the Transportation Security Agency, said he envisions "a day where the checkpoint looks very different from what it does today.
With the exception of the full-body scanners, "We're still largely dealing with ...the same kind of checkpoint we've had for the past decade or more. And I think we're on the cusp of a very different looking checkpoint experience in the next five years."

As long as PC gets in the way of profiling, the TSA, which has a 95% failure rate with their present procedures, is nothing but Kabuki theater.
These TSA and Dept. of Homeland Security people are the biggest bunch of useless c*nts on the planet. I fly hundreds of thousands of miles a year, and the system they have in place now to “fully vet” frequent travelers (TSA Precheck) is absolutely useless, as these morons are constantly dicking around with it. These useless, unionized government pieces of feces are hell-bent on completely destroying the airline industry.
Abolish TSA (and ideally the Dept. of Homeland Security as well). Leave airline security to each airline and airport authority. The current system is broken, useless, and needs to be ripped out by the roots.
Unfortunately, we will never do what the Israelis do, profiling and asking open ended questioning to go with the profiling.
With the new system, if you’re elderly, a child, or a white male, they just strip you naked a ram a cattle prod up your wazoo.
We stopped flying when the government started groping. TSA needs to be returned to the private sector airlines to manage! (A continuing 95 percent failure rate is more then enough reason to do this!! Leaving all ideology aside). But more police state measures and “internal passports” or their equivalents are totally uncalled for and unacceptable for us. We will not submit We fought against hitler and the soviets to keep America free and now we’ve let a growing dictatorship be imposed on us with nary a fight nor even a whimper. ( It would be nice to be able to fly again while we’re still alive to do it. We had so many plans to go see so many places, too-)—

Everyone simply flies nude with “remove before flying” flags on all their orifices indicating that they’ve been duly “searched?” Kinda like steaks at Ruth’s Chris!
Appears the suspected bomb plant on the plane in Egypt, is causing countries to revisit airport security methods across the world in order to prevent a bomb from getting on another plane. In Egypt, they are looking at personnel who had access to that plane.
Fine, let our guys examine personnel who have access to our planes in our airports, good for them.
