Trooper cares for kids after parents die in Halloween car crash

"They kept saying 'My parents will be here soon, they went to the store to get more candy and face makeup; they'll be right back.'"

Unfortunately Georgia Trooper Nathan Bradley knew different.

Unfortunately the parents of the four youngest kids in this picture had been killed when they lost control of their car and hit a tree.

It happened on Halloween night.

But as sad as this story is, it's also touching to learn how Trooper Bradley went way above and beyond to help the kids.

I was in the break room at work with the radio playing over the intercom speakers. The DJ asked if anyone knew of a word that featured all the vowels in order. It took me about one second to say, facetious. Everyone looked at me like I was a mutant and I just smiled.
