Are you joking? Can you refer to any scholarly materials that put the origin and/or the use of the pyramids into serious doubt?
What was the use of the pyramids?
It is a matter of common knowledge that the dating and methods of construction of the pyramids has been widely debated. Do you really expect me to unearth a raft of scholarly papers to make this point? The fact also remains that the bulk of these entities remains largely unexplored, and that they are placed in the midst of numerous buildings. None of this in any way makes Dr. Carson’s perspective either ludicrous or beyond “common sense.” While I do not concur with his theory, it hardly merits the attention given it by his detractors.
