1. I am certain that none of us would want that yardstick used against us. I'm sure we've all said all sorts of stuff 17 years back;
2. This applies for any candidate one supports as well. For example, I'm sure Trump said things 17 years back that he'd not want dredged up today (I'd bet on that), Rubio was probably in grade-school back then, and Hillary was brewing some witches brew to try and stop Bill from having late night sessions with semi-attractive skirts.
