Reminds me of some of the strange things Pat Buchanan said about the Middle East.
I read an article that said that fact checkers had not found any statements by Carson that they could rate as “True”.
So Trumpkins are bringing up 17 year old comments that are totally unrelated to politics and totally irrelevant? Seems like they are getting desperate.
And that's all that matters in a presidential election!

You know, I have heard many theories as to how the pyramids at Giza and elsewhere around the world were used. The most recent explanation was that they were used in gold mining by “The Others” the Annunaki. It was a fascinating interview and the whole theory plausible and realistic, but in the end, I just didn’t by into it. As for storing grain....nah. Not needed. As much as I do not support Dr. Carson, I seem to remember that that theory (the pyramids as a granary) was being floated around the late 90s. So he was repeating the theory of the day at the time. I don’t knock him for that.
There is a great series of podcasts called Earth Ancients on iTunes. I recommend downloading all of them, (about 90 now). The interviewer is less than to be desired, but the topics are mind expanding even if you don’t by into the alternative theories. Now these theories of pre-history predominately ignore the ancient alien theory and suggest that mankind well enough developed the mechanisms to build and construct all the great megalithic structures around the planet. As to how, that is another question, no doubt lost to the ages and the Great Flood.
He’s a fine man, prolly too good for politics.

Will he tell us next that Abraham Lincoln was really a vampire ?
Ben Carson didn’t graduate from Pineville, Louisiana ... it was an ivy-league university ...
and yet he made “bizzare” public statements about the pyramids ?

I’m also convinced that he had Aspergers. The man was a total ass. Had the worst bedside manner that I’ve ever encountered.
Completely incompetent except for cutting.
I’d let him operate on any family member. I’d let him operate on me again.
I would not allow him to watch my cat for a weekend and I definitely wouldn’t allow him balance my checkbook. I wouldn’t introduce him to someone I like at a party.
My gardener is fantastic at his job. That doesn’t mean that he’d be a good POTUS.
Honestly I don’t really care what any candidate thinks about the pyramids. If Ted Cruz said he believed they were houses for dinosaurs I would still support him.
I care about issues and integrity. Cruz is by far the best in both areas. Carson is a distant second.

Two separate issues. Carson is a good and honorable man who has saved and helped many. He’s just not made out to be a president.
It's become clear that Carson, despite his obvious intelligence and skill in some areas, does not know anything about many things.
