They bank on ‘That will never happen because...” fantasies passed around by people lulling each other into normalcy bias. And they are right to because thats what people do. Just look at how viciously anyone that breaches the idea that Barry won’’t step down, gets attacked by ‘their own.
Sure it sounds nuts. Because normalcy bias programmed the public to believe since it can’t happen here that such things are crazy.
