The Republican race for president appears headed to be a battle between four men: Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio. Although Rubio is known as a potential favorite of the establishment, he’s also seen as someone who can bridge the gap with the conservative base, thereby uniting the party as a whole.
That sure sounds great, but now there’s a problem for conservatives even larger than Rubio’s history with promoting policies that allow amnesty: His commitment to the rule of law, no matter the issue.
n a little-noticed interview earlier this year with Univision’s Jorge “Borders Are Racist†Ramos, Rubio said that as president he would allow President Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty for DREAMers to stand while the process plays out:
Here’s what Rubio literally said, as quoted by Breitbart.com:
"DACA … applies to young people that arrived in this country at a very young age before they were adults and I don’t think we can immediately revoke that … I’m not calling for it to be revoked tomorrow, or this week, or right away."
He continued:
"I think it will have to end at some point and I hope it will end because of some reform to the immigration laws."
In other words, Rubio is pledging to allow an unconstitutional law to stand until Congress ratifies his preferred law, which may or may not produce a similar policy.
Remarkably, Rubio’s reasoning is almost an exact mirror of President Obama’s rhetoric:
President Obama told Congress: “If folks are serious about getting immigration reform done [they should be] passing a bill and getting it to my desk. And then the executive actions that I take go away.†Similarly, Obama told George Stephanopoulos after being pressed on his executive amnesty: “Well, my response is pass a bill.â€

Trump says something negative about illegal immigration and his ratings soar. Rubio/Yeb say something positive about illegal immigration and their ratings plummet. Obviously people are fed up with double speak. The reason Trump is and has been leading the whole time is he isn’t playing the rat race like these morons, and people know it. Most Americans can agree that politicians are full of s*$t and we’re kinda tired of it, I think.
Question for the next debate ....
“We know and we all recognize the conservative base and even up to the center are angry. What are you going to do to address this anger?
That leaves Rubio out.
Amnesty ... check.
Obamacare ... check.
Bringing it to the Progressives ... unchecked.
Not a choice for VP anymore either

It’s sad what the puppetmasters have done to Rubio, who once was just a well-meaning, working class kid. No wonder he sweats. Sold his soul.
Zero percent chance Marco Amnesty will receive my vote. Some of these guys are no better than the democrats.
I got a call yesterday from Rubio’s campaign. I told them that I disagreed strongly with him about immigration. The caller said that things had changed greatly since the gang of eight. I said that wasn’t the case and cited Rubio’s remarks about not reversing Obama’s EO. Altering Gen. Sherman’s remark, I said that I wouldn’t support Rubio in either the primary or the general election.

Well, of course he wouldn’t. He’s in business for and with the invading force. Why he’s even called a republican much less, a conservative, or why he’s placing in the race or why he’s a senator or I guess an American citizen is completely mysterious.
Do people exist so far afield from reality and truth they can’t see through an expensive comb over into the glib phoniness of guys like tgis?
His best friend in the senate, the only one he’s ever worked with is chuck schumer. How is THAT defined as working for his constituents?

Marco Hussein Amnesty Rubio is worse as someone who votes for this clown might think he would actually do something good. Secretly the nitwit will probably leave Obamacare alone too.

You really still believe the polls are honest?
Rubio is actually a NeoConservative, which you would characterize as being a big government fiscal conservative, a hawk, and a social liberal, which means he is pro-choice, supports homosexual rights, and immigration reform. But, being a presidential candidate, he has to obfuscate his position on social issues, which means he had to abandon the immigration legislation he helped write.
As for immigration reform, what is being proposed today is not much different from 2005 and 2006. Shumer replaced Ted Kennedy and Rubio replaced Mel Martinez.
In 2006 the GOP Senate began by trying to pass CIRA, which was Kennedy-McCain, but they didn't have enough votes for cloture, so the Hegel-Martinez compromise emerged, which the senate passed, after which, the GOP House walked away without acting. Rubio and the Gang of 8 passed their legislation in the Senate and the GOP House refused to take it up.
So the dems won the House and Senate in Nov 2006, which means they controlled the committees, and the attempt in 2007 to pass immigration reformed turned into a battle between the unions and Ted Kennedy, which the unions won, and they killed immigration reform, with the help of 4 republicans.
