I will patiently await the investigation results because it is fruitless to speculate, but I am confused about one thing - did’nt the pilot radio in right before the crash about technical difficulties?
My question also. Not too many facts to put into a timeline.
did not the pilot radio in right before the crash about technical difficulties?
Could it be that he was having trouble getting the plane to Mach 2 in order to outrun the missile?
No. That was false reporting.
“but I am confused about one thing - didânt the pilot radio in right before the crash about technical difficulties?:
No. That report turned out to be false. Nothing from the plane indicating trouble. Flying one instant and disintegrating and falling to the ground the next.
The EGYPTIANS claimed they heard the pilot radio control difficulties, but the Russians admonish that no such transmissions occurred.
Since the plane was over the Sinai, it would make sense that Egypt would want to splash cold water on the notion of malfeasance, since it would shed doubt on whether the authorities there are fully in control.
MAYBE he did radio difficulties, but it’s LOGICAL that Egypt would advance that claim.
That was reported earlier, but not confirmed. It turned out to be incorrect.
It was reported in the media that an Egyptian official stated that the pilot declared he had technical problems and was asking for clearance to descend and land immediately (emergency landing).
The Russians have declared this not to be true.
No one in Egypt is saying anything.
Here's the ATC who originally reported it.
(just kidding about the photo. The rest is true.)
