How sad that so many people need to waste their life on ‘an escape’ from their lives. ALot of peoples lives must suck. wish they would stop wasting their life watching steroid pumped up people run around with balls and spend more time volunteering or reading...or something productive and not such a waste of life.

It is possible to enjoy some sports, for entertainment and down time, without wasting your life. OTOH, it can be overdone, just like everything else.
