Yes but that is for ESPN or any of the multitude of sports stations and talk shows. Rush can mention this but not make a monologue on it.
All most people pay attention to is sports or something else equally recreational while the country dies.
His show, his choice. My radio, my choice. Just turned him Off.
Guess talking about the country dying does not make much difference anyway. Nothing ever gets done about it. Just talk. Might as well eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die.

Huh. It was all over the net it seemed, but I didn’t see tv ( turned it off a year ago, oddly haven’t missed it).
Rush still has friends from his old team from decades ago, especially Brett. Give him a minute to enjoy their victory, and quit complainng . Sheesh!
Since Rush used to work for the Royals he probably is interested in their success.

It is possible to enjoy some sports, for entertainment and down time, without wasting your life. OTOH, it can be overdone, just like everything else.
Moderation....it always comes down to that, including reading and volunteering.
I don’t think Jeb really wanted this....I think he knew he was supposed to want it, and therefore got talked into it.

He spoke about it for about 2-3 minutes, then dropped it. I really thought he would be excited about it, but he was nothing but a wet blanket. Disappointing analysis!
