Because the leftwing is already questioning her integrity?

You have to look at how the story rolled out.

In Sept, two independent sources published reports that Exxon internally investigated the issue(CO2 and global warming), but decided to cover it up.

So some democrats began calling for a federal investigation. Among the dem candidates, O'Malley would be the first(Oct 18) to call for an investigation. Then Sanders(Oct 20). And finally Clinton(Oct 30).

The dems criticize Hillary because she is a corporatist democrat aka a DLC democrat. They say she is head of the republican wing of the democrat party, and the fact that she was tardy in calling for the Exxon investigation proves it.
