Ramon Ochoa probably isnât laughing now. Ochoa, who had previously served about six years for firearms possession by a felon, got into trouble with his probation officer, which resulted in Ochoa being back inside a Fresno courtroom.
Ochoaâs mouth got him into more hot water when he laughed at OâNeillâs sentence, saying, âAnything else?â
âWell, you just talked yourself into more time,â OâNeill replied. The judge doubled Ochoaâs sentence to two years for laughing at the court.

Good for him.
Should have sent him back to Mexico after the 2 years.
He was probably laughing because he knew that Obama would be springing him from jail in a few days.
Hillary is the only one that can laugh and cackle when she breaks the law.
Several years ago, I had a friend who was in a bar fight. When he went to court, the deal was already made for probation and a fine.
The judge, addressing my friend, told him, “I understand that you hit him in anger but why did you hit him a second time”? My friend answered, “He was still twitching, your honor”.
30 days in the county lock up.
Cartoon of judge lecturing a defiant adolescent standing before the bench:
“You’d better show me some respect, sonny, I had to kiss a lot of ass to get this job.”
The judge had already made up his mind that the defendant should serve more time. The laugh was just an excuse.
In general, if a person isn't to be trusted with a firearm, and is imprisoned for same, he isn't to be trusted outside of a cage at all.
Nail that man’s foot to the floor
Judges shouldn’t have the power to lock you up for “disrespecting their authoriteh.”
Sr. Ochoa won’t have to worry in a few years.
Fresno will be predominantly Mexican and the Judge can be bribed, like all “Judges” in Mexico.
As long as he has a stack of dinero for the judge to hide under his robe, he can laugh all he wants...on his way out the door.
That’s the future for California. Los Gringos be on their way out.
So anyone should be able to scream and disrupt court proceedings without consequence? There are some places you just have to behave.
“SÃ. Otra cosa, cabron. Dos años más.”
Back to Mexico?
A former boss of mine got into things when he was younger. He is a big bruiser. Got in a fight outside a party once. Came staggering inside all beat to hell. People asked him about the guy who kicked his ass. “He’s outside. I think he’s dead.”
It’s called contempt of court, and there’s little question of their authority to enforce it. Think, for example, of Kim Davis.
My dad used to tell about a guy he knew that got in a fight and was arrested for drunk in public. When the judge said “ that will be thirty dollars” and the guy said “well I got that right here in my hip pocket’ to which the judge responded “and thirty days. You got that in your hip pocket too?
