Laura Bonilla lists “both” “lovers” in a trio, and names a “Rio de Janeiro notary public”, and in the next sentence calls her an attorney.
Stupid article with contradictions.

Most lawyers are also notary public. It is simply a contract that the lawyers and ‘ladies’ drew up and was notarized. It is not a legal marriage, only a contractual agreement that would be unenforceable because plural marriages are not recognized by the state.
