Russian passenger aircraft goes off radar, reportedly crashes over Egypt

An airliner flying from Egypt’s Sharm El-Sheikh to St. Petersburg disappeared from radar, a source in the Russian airline regulator told RIA Novosti.

The Airbus belonging to Kogalymavia, a small airline based in Western Siberia, went missing as it was flying over the Sinai Peninsula. Some local media reported that it crashed.
