President Obama promised a military audience here on Wednesday that he would not send troops into combat in the campaign against Islamic militants in Iraq, as the White House sought to dispel growing confusion over exactly what role American soldiers are going to play on the battlefield in the unfolding operation.

Did you expect something different? Everything he says is a lie. His whole life is a lie. It’s at the point now where if he told me it was cloudy and cold in my town (which it is), I wouldn’t believe him.

Are we there to protect Saudi proxies?

Revising what LBJ said:

We are not about to send American boys 9 or 10 thousand miles away from home to do what Asian Muslim boys ought to be doing for themselves.

The Shiites are winning. Obama cannot let this happen. He will send special forces in with strict rules of engagement which protect civilians. Which of course will hide Sunni militants. Which we won’t be able to kill without fear of being prosecuted.

And no one sees this as the reason?

I will ask what must not be asked because the implications are so fearsome.

At some point, will the U.S. Military, seeing itself as convenient sacrifices for an Administration whose military strategy and ROE seems to be protecting baby rapers and crazed Islamic murders, finally balk and mutiny?

“The Shiites are winning. Obama cannot let this happen. “

That’s right. Assad & Co, are Alawite, a Shi’ite sect.
Obama was brought up a Sunni. The Saudis he bowed deeply to are Sunnis.
So it’s not a “war for oil” this time, it’s for an Islamic denomination our president (who is not a muslim, and if you don’t believe that just ask him) favors.

Shi’ites. Kurds. It even sounds nasty. We should get the Hell out and let the Russians blow everything up real good.

We’ve always been at war with Eastasia, don’t ya know?
