The Republican Crack-Up Is Happening Now
Breitbart ^ | October 28, 2015 | Mike Flynn

By almost any political measurement, the Republican party is the strongest it’s been in generations.

Voter reaction against the leftward lurch of the Obama Administration has won the GOP a share of federal, state and national offices it hasn’t enjoyed since the 1920s. It is a dramatic turnaround for a party that many observers left for dead after Democrat sweeps in 2006 and 2008.

The Republican party’s resurgence, however, was driven by explicitly conservative campaign messages and rhetoric. The party tapped into voters’ economic anxiety and frustration with a rapidly expanding federal government and unsustainable spending and debt. The party leadership in Washington, though, never fully absorbed, or apparently even believed, its campaign rhetoric.

As a result, the Republican party is cracking-up before our eyes. In doing so, it is forfeiting yet another incredible opportunity to recapture the White House. Future historians may point to this past week as the moment the emerging dominant political party blew apart.

The budget deal reveals the fundamental political weakness of Republicans, as opposed to conservatives. Republicans want to avoid any political fights on or around elections, while conservatives relish them as a means to frame an election. Removing questions about government spending from the political debate prevents conservatives from using voters’ anger about deficit spending to power Republican victories.

Right. I was halfway listening to Ryan’s speech just now. One phrase I heard sent up the red flag. He said he wanted to “make peoples’ lives better.”

THAT is the fatal flaw in ALL the government types, regardless of the ideology that they espouse.

That mindset is, and always shall be, incompatible with liberty.

It isn’t up to the government to make anything, their job is to facilitate.

Statists don’t see it that way. How did the GOP turn into McCain’s Group of 8?

Spread the word that Republicans are allowing Patty Murray to run unopposed. That should be a red flag for everyone.

I would bet that buried in that budget deal is the extension of the export Import Bank, too.

It is and the article goes into that at the source.

patty Murray needs the Export a import Bank to push through a coal terminal in WA that she is trying to get built for the company that employed her husband since he graduated from college, a Longshoremen company, run by the ILWU, the openly Communist longshoremen union that has ties to the OWS, the Black bloc Anarchists and the port slow down on west coast that has been going on for almost two years.

I forgot to say why they need the Export Import Bank. The type of coal that they want shipped is worthless, literally. It is worth less than the cost of the shipping, so they want tax payer to subsidize the sale of the coal to Asia. They want us to pay Not only the shipping costs on Warren Buffet’s rail road but to build a special terminal for the ILWU to ship it from.

They have plenty of terminal space in British Columbia to ship it from as it is, but that isn’t good enough for the ILWU.

Sending good people to corrupted institutions always results in corrupted people. History has shown that most conservatives in DC end up going wobbly, rino, or worse. Something clearly happens to good people there.

The problems with our nation stems from the accelerating concentration of power in fewer and fewer hands. This problem cannot be cured by sending “good” men and women to DC.

Recent events also show that the exec, congress, courts no longer serve their constitutional purposes. So the question that addresses the nub of the problem is, “How do we change the institutions such that men's personal interests coincide with the public good?”

This problem isn't new; it was known in 1787. It is why the Framers designed such a complex system of powers divided among the people, states, and the government they created.

Our fate is sealed unless and until power is diffused once again across the states.

That means returning the senate to the states. When senators guard the interests of their states, when they are responsible to a few hundred attentive legislators instead of millions of low info voters with the cognitive skills of an MSNBC host, it will be in the interest of senators to stop and reverse the accumulation of power in DC.

There is no alternative.

Article V before we can't.

As I have been saying for several years on here, the republican leadership are ALL New World Order Socialists, their only goal is to advance the socialist agenda no matter what the cost.

The departing Speaker is a low life socialist like his friends in the Democrat Party.
