Was Jeb Bush's debate performance a 'warm kiss' of death?
The Telegraph ^ | 10/29/15 | David Lawler

Jeb Bush entered the third Republican presidential debate fighting for his political life.

In the wake of two weak debate performances and crumbling poll numbers, the former front-runner was forced to cut staff and found himself caught in a vacuum of viability.

On Wednesday night in Colorado, Mr Bush at last had an opportunity to reassert himself in the race, but all he managed was to confirm the view of many in the party that his campaign is a lost cause.

(snip)

Mr Bush's bad night would soon get worse, when he was asked if he would reach across the aisle to make a deal with Democrats on spending.

"You find a Democrat that's for cutting taxes- cutting spending ten dollars," he said, "I'll give them a warm kiss."

That ‘warm kiss’ comment by Jeb Clampett made me absolutely nauseous.

I mean, who says that???!!!

Seriously, other than being a Mexican mouthpiece, does he really have any purpose here?

Jeb spent Sunday and Monday in Houston promising his angry donors he wouldn’t say stupid things in the debate.

So what does he do?

He says stupid things in the debate!

I cannot fathom why anybody would support Jebbie for president. Are those people on same planet as the rest of us? Even if Jebbie was a statesman, his surname alone is toxic to about 60% of the electorate. But he’s far from a statesman. GWB become a laughingstock only because he allowed himself to be. With Jebbie, he’s got no choice in the matter.

This is one of the worst presidential candidates I have ever witnessed. Even Dukakis wasn’t this bad.

Jeb is the only candidate I’ve seen in my lifetime for whom I do not know a single supporter. No one. I’ve never heard anyone talk about him other than derisively.

His chances are about as good as finding pizza leftovers at the weight watchers meeting.

“the former front-runner” WHAT A LIE!
He was never the actual frontrunner. The media’s virtual-reality frontrunner.

Jeb is burdened w/ the Bush name and is one of the worst presidential
candidates I have ever witnessed. Even Dukakis wasn’t this bad.

Jeb oughta get in an army tank and drive to Florida ....
I know a great short cut...through the Everglades. LOL.

===============================================

LET'S NOT DIMINSH JEB'S CONTRIBUTIONS TO AMERICAN POLITICS---One of Jeb's greatest campaign achievements is bringing the Bush name into total disrepute......into a veritable quagmire from which the Bush clan can never recover.

PARAPHRASING FREEPER ANIEOKIE:....Jeb's been hearing his family deride conservatives behind our backs for years, but family IDIOT Jebito blurts out the Bush family secret on the campaign trail......that the Bushes laugh at conservatives behind our backs.

=================================================

Thanks for the memories, Jeb.

This is the second time that Jeb Bush used a “womanly” expression.

The first was when he talked about putting “big boy pants on”.

That’s the kind of thing said by someone who has been dressing little children, or a woman whop wants to dress down a man, as the statement cannot be turned back on her.

This bit about wanting to give someone a warm kiss is something a woman would say, as they are more likely to give affectionate kisses to either sex, and kisses from a nice woman are welcome, while warm kisses from a man not at least a romantic interest , a relative or Richard Dawson (for women, anyway) is icky.

Can anybody imagine his dad, or a respected uncle saying such a stupid thing? An aunt, or more likely a flirty girl, but a respected man? Never.
