The really outrageous part about it all is that Passive-Aggressive LAUGH she trundles out, every time she faces a question she doesn’t like.
The laugh says:
“Your question scares me, and so I’m going to laugh in the hopes of convincing others that your question, here, is totally ridiculous. I’m going to take the feeling of isolation you’re trying to heap on me, and I’m going to dump it on YOU.”
It’s a very aggressive laugh and it’s unmistakable.
She’s been doing it FOR DECADES.
