Why Yikes?
Origins matter.
Think about it - you’re going to come to different conclusions if you believe that you and your fellow humans are special creations of God, in His image,
rather than accidents of slime, time, and chance.
But the key question remains.. does he wear magic underpants?

I presumed that the "Yikes!" had to do with the author (Jacoby) saying that he is not voting for Trump, or Carson - and he also didn't mention Cruz...

Well, what do Americans want? An evolutionist who believes that we are all the result of the random collision of cosmic molecules and slowly descended from ape-like creatures and not created in the image of God?
I look for surgeons the way that Trump looks for negotiators. I don’t care if they’re ‘nice’. I don’t care about their bedside manner. Are they good cutters?
All of the surgeons who’ve worked on me have been fantastic doctors - but terrible human beings. Difficult to get along with. Some so arrogant that it was actually comical. Some had the social skills of an autistic person.
They’re a different breed.
I’m sure that Carson is a great surgeon. His record says so and I am impressed. I’m not even phased by the malpractice suits. Most doctors have to deal with that now days.
But I do NOT trust him to run a country. I cannot imagine him dealing with Congress or fighting with China on our behalf. I cannot see him as CIC of our fighting forces.
I have seen nothing to convince me that this guy has the first clue on what to do about the economy.
I have zero faith that this man could run a country.
