None of that makes him wrong, though
I am one who strongly beleive there are lost civilizations we know nothing about. Look at some of the monoliths with stones weighing hundreds of tons.
We could not even move them today with modern eqipment, let alone cut them with laser-like precision from out of a mountain side.
Sure. Nor does it give any support to his claim it will happen again in 2030. Or support the need to buy his book, as was the real point of the article.
Oh, shucks. Don’t you know space aliens did those or showed mankind how to do them? It was on tv, so it has to be true. : )
Genesis 6:4 reads, The Nephilim were on the earth in those days and also afterward [after the flood] when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
The Nephilim were offspring of fallen angels and humans iirc. I think they had extra powers and knowledge. I’m no expert though!
This is a common misconception people have as a result of inflammatory, and bombastic "documentary" reporting that they are subjected to throughout life...
There is nothing special about the old monolithic blocks. They are not cut to laser-like precision, and they can be moved with primitive tools. Just not fast!
I recommend you watch 2 documentaries. One about the Easter Island statues on NOVA and the incredible revelation that it is possible they were "walked" from he quarry to the beach.
The other is also a NOVA about the Antikythera mechanism, a mechanical computer that is over 2000 years old. It turns out that it was not impossible for them to make them, they just needed a fine jeweler and a mathematician. Both available 2000 years ago.
These ancient marvels were not impossible to make, just very difficult and time consuming. It's amazing what the human mind can do where there are no tablets and TV's to keep it occupied with nonsense :-)
