OK so where do you buy tank ammunition?
Actually it’s an M-18 Hellcat Tank Destroyer.
Ping.
I swear I had nothing... to do with this--
But watching the news report shows you can never over-estimate... the ignorance of the news media when it come to reporting on anything military!
BTW: Looks like an M-10 tank destroyer
Is an M-18 Hellcat... Tank Destroyer--
Not an... M-10 "TD"

Well, thats right in my area..if i were in the country that is.. I know the area intimately. The Military did maneuvers in the area during early WW11 in preparation for North Africa. There was a lot of left over stuff found to this day. Until I saw the video I was imagining that these two folks had found one of the several abandoned Grant tanks from the BLM desert and messed with some unstable rounds inside. Obviously not the case. Will be interesting to learn the cause, but perhaps the aged metal in the breach disintegrated.. Too bad
I know a few people who are active in MVPA and the restoration and reenactment community.
There are a number of Progressive groups and political leaders who have been trying to shut them down for a long time now. Now-retired Sen Carl Levin was one of the worst.
This isn’t going to turn out well for people who restore and operate historic military vehicles. The Left has been waiting and ready for an event like this.
RIP.
