Switzerland is extremely well armed. No one in their right mind would try to invade the Swiss homeland. It’s like trying to invade the US. Too many guns to make it worth your while.

Every adult male Swiss has an actual select fire rifle provided by the Swiss government, if memory serves. And they are trained annually to use it effectively.
