The Administration is hoping that, if they insert American ground troops in places they don’t want bombed (like in American-supported fighters’ strongholds) then the Russians will refrain from bombing those places, due to unwillingness to harm Americans.

I’m sure the Russians won’t want to harm any Americans. But they’ve set out to do a job and I think they intend to get it done. Things happen when you open a can of whoop ass.
0bama is a numbnut if he thinks the Russians will back off because he put American troops in harm’s way.
