It’s about more than the bathroom and locker room issue. I have a client who is a psychotherapist with an office in Houston. Was contacted by a gay “couple” wanting psychotherapy. Said no because has no experience in that area of counseling. Has been served with a lawsuit charging discimination. Also doesn’t see kids with ADHD, people with eating disorders, etc. because is not experienced in those areas either. Doesn’t seem to matter. Going to close the practice and refer patients out.

There will be no choice about providing services if this passes.

I don’t live in Houston but I do work in Houston. I’ll find out after this election whether or not I am actually a lesbian. If Houston prop 1 passes I will identify as a woman (lesbian) and will go into the bathroom with my wife to protect her anytime we are in Houston.
